Yesterday for a short time I decided I had nothing better to do than play with contrasting backgrounds of subjects that were coated with the rapidly melting snow from the previous night. Nothing profound, but interesting, and of course it involved snow, wet sand, mud and water drops; some of the things that make outdoor photography so much fun. The comparisons aren’t exact for after all I had to shoot from different angles to get the different backgrounds. So, for what they’re worth…
