Alternative energy is on all of the front pages now, but this isn’t exactly alternative energy, it’s more like alternating energy, whereby you put energy into it now and then get energy out of it later. At the moment I’m questioning whether I’ll get as much energy out of this as I’m putting into it!

On a brief visit this morning to Munson Creek, all I could find blooming besides the ubiquitous Buttercups were these Yellowbells, and I was finally able to get a photo of one that I like.
Upon thinking about the old rhyme “April showers bring May flowers” I’m beginning to be a bit concerned that, because of the very dry winter, a completely dry March and a dry forecast for April, it may be a very bad year for wildflowers in this region.

In that we didn’t plant these little ones that I found in our front yard today, I will call them “wild”, (and even with its bad reputation, I still think the Dandelion blossom is pretty).
