I was very lucky. If one is outdoors as much as I am, shots like this will present themselves once in awhile I guess. Kind of like the blind squirrel finding a nut.
The doe is lovely. Now fair warning: Don’t think I am copying you but tomorrow on my own blog will be, yes, deer. Though my pictures are way less clear and excellent as yours.
I caught that scene in my peripheral vision while driving a small road. I continued on about a quarter of a mile and stopped to change my lens. Then, because she didn’t seem to pay attention to the Jeep, I just backed up until I could get the shot.
