    • The snow capped mountains so far are protected by being in a designated roadless area. I hate to think of what they would look like without that protection.

    • Some of it will stay pristine, not because of man’s wisdom but because of the sheer ruggedness of the areas, although even that can be soiled as the air becomes polluted.

    • You have driven through that valley many times, Iona, on Hwy 200. The photo was taken from a thousand or so feet above the valley above Weeksville Creek.
