The leaves in the high country are oh, so close to winter now.
These first two photos, taken on McCully Ridge, combine a touch of frost, the early morning sun, and a few water drops resulting from the combination.
Today, a few days later and twenty miles away on Loneman Divide, the sun no longer has its power. (The temperature was 19F this morning when I stepped onto the trail.)
