Funny, but this is the first time I’ve enjoyed seeing one of these. I dread their spread and so have never liked seeing them but this one is beautiful. The artistry and design is amazing and I’ve never noticed it before.

Beautiful. I love dandelion clocks. My husband hates them because he can only see them as making more of what he regards as weeds, but I have always loved these. 🙂

I can see both sides of that issue, but I like the flowers and the seed heads. Interestingly, there are fewer of them in the parts of my lawn that are mostly clover.

Both our native and imported dandelions are seeding now, and many of the thistles. The season is just rolling along, and I haven’t even sorted all my spring flower photos yet! Of course, I’m noticing many more flowers, and taking many more photos, so there’s that. 🙂

I don’t mind them either. Nearly all of my landscaping is natural and they are part of that. I remember loving them when I was a kid.

I love images of these seed heads, but they’re not so easy to get in focus as one might think (apart from having to get down very low to photograph one).
Your shot is just lovely and excellent focus.

Thanks Vicki. They are works of art and engineering and worth the effort to photograph them. This one was posed for me by the light from the late afternoon sun and just had to be photographed.
