What can be found in a thick tangle of brush like this? Well, there is water, and a few rays of sunlight filtering through the trees, and the green things of the wilderness will find and use both, and as you push your way through the foliage, interesting things appear.
For years I have stepped over, around, and sometimes on this plant, assuming that those tiny white flowers sitting atop a bare stalk a foot and a half above the huge triangle-shaped leaves were just plain, drab and of no consequence.
Today for some reason, I asked the camera to look very closely at the tiny (< 1/4 inch) flowers… and what a treat!
