Nature’s floral arrangements
While following an elusive trail of a new flower today I came upon two of Mother Nature’s settings I just couldn’t pass up. I didn’t need any more Shooting Star pictures, but…
and my quota on Buttercup photos is all filled up, however…
Sure wish I could do arrangements that well!

Buttercups (1)
Before a lot of other species of wildflowers begin their short life cycles, I am still enjoying the Buttercups which are now in their mid-season glory and I have decided to post photos of them over the next few days including a couple that I hope will display a little of their character that I don’t think is always noticed. Please bear with me!

March 28
On a day that featured bright warm sun at times and cold, wind-driven snow at others, it was great being outside. My accomplishments were minor: I caught a Brown trout and a Rainbow and released both, hiked about 7 miles in total and in between the snow storms snapped two photos that I really like. Taking the risk of boring everyone with more photos of these early wildflowers, here they are:

The prettiest little Yellowbell I’ve seen yet.
