This little guy paid a visit here this afternoon, which was very surprising because they are highly nocturnal and therefore seldom seen. In fact, this is the only one that I have ever seen. What a thrill to see him right up close!

I love owls too but seldom get to see one, especially this close. It looks quite a bit like a Pygmy Owl. It was a thrill!

So beautiful. We had an owl in our backyard tree a couple of years ago. I felt so lucky…Im always checking in case another one drops by. Loved seeing your photos.
