    • Yes. Seems like spring has been pushed back a couple of weeks here. The photo was taken at 10:30 last night at about 15º.

    • Spring will come in a few weeks, but just knowing that makes the remaining winter prettier.

  6. This is a striking image. I tend not to prefer black and white, but sometimes it’s exactly right, as it is here. It even looks cold — as I guess it was! 15 degrees? Yikes!

    • I need to do a few more “camera setup drills” for taking night photos in the winter when you not only can’t see what you’re doing but there is limited time to work before your fingers start to lose feeling.

      • That just made me laugh out loud. When they say artists suffer for their art, I’m not sure what they mean, but in my book, that counts!

        • When the camera attaches the EXIF information to the photo it ought to also list elevation, temperature and wind chill factor.
