I love photos taken from the outside, looking in … there’s an aura of mystery, and a deeper sense of home, imo. Love this. The colors are great. I think I may need to get a geranium this spring. 🙂

I seldom go anywhere at night because I usually have no reason to, but when I do this is what I see when I park the car. I think it looks pleasant and welcoming, which is exactly what it is. The geranium and I get along well. I water it every Monday and remove the spent blossoms, feed it occasionally and it does well. Very forgiving plant!

That geranium reminds me of my grandmother. She had a house full of them.

I love those icicles – so longggg.
That looks like one very healthy geranium – obviously its warm enough inside to grow them in winter. I love the composition of the snow and icicles framing the window. Very attractive.

The mound of snow in front of the window is on a planter box that is filled with flowers in the summer, which provides a welcome to anyone who drives up to visit.

Funny! I have a geranium in my window too! I was going to slack back on watering and save it for next spring but it just keeps on blooming, so I couldn’t do it!!

This is such a beautiful, warm and welcoming scene. I love geraniums, but we have to deal with them a little differently. They do quite well through our winters, but when it begins to get hot in the summertime, many people who want to keep them growing will bring them into the air conditioning. My mother had one that she managed to keep alive for several years; it was her pride and joy. It never attained the size of yours, though. In fact, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen one that large. Whatever you’re doing is just right!

This one has been there for about 4 years now and seems to do well so I just tend it and leave it in place. It probably wouldn’t like the temperatures that we have in August, and of course winter would kill it. A photo taken from the same place tonight would show that the snow now comes up over half of the window.

Very nice photo. We do not have spring yet. This Morning we have -2.2℉ and last week when we visited Snow Castle in Kemi, we had -13.9℉ 🙂

That’s very cold. We had similar temperatures a week ago. Now, for the coming week there will be daytime highs that get above freezing. In the transition here between winter and spring there are dramatic changes from warm to cold and there can be considerable snowfall one day that melts the next. It’s a wonderful time of year!

The snow isn’t quite that deep here. Just uncomfortably above the top of my hiking boots. Haven’t yet seen any signs of the spring birds.

I know I’ve said it before when it comes to your photos, but seriously, where is the ‘love’ button when I need it?? I LOVE this photo! It just speaks to me on this dreary, overcast day and causes my face to break into a huge smile. And that happy geranium is one big fella!
