I love the Clark Fork River every time we cross it (and that’s many times as we drive along the highway over the many windings of the river). It’s so scenic!
The tracks are of deer. Sometimes people fish this stretch of river, but not in winter. There were no human tacks around but mine. It’s a little hard to get to in winter because of the ice and snow.
What a great winter scene. thank you

Thanks. That’s a place I like to visit when the snow is just right.

……..just when you thought Spring might be coming 🙂
Good to see the water flowing in the river again.

This is just part of those huge loops and swirls of weather that spring brings to this part of the country.

Yes, it flows through a beautiful part of Montana. Pretty in all seasons.

And it is so winding, that the highway crosses over it many times as we travel across Montana, and it’s beautiful at each bridge.

And pretty good fishing over most of its length.

That view is close and I walk down there. It isn’t visible from the highway though, so few people ever see it.

It’s easy now that spring is just around the corner to sit back and enjoy the beauty of winter.

I’m curious about the tracks on the right-hand side of the photo. Animal or yours or both? Either way, you captured a lovely winter landscape.
