    • This is just part of those huge loops and swirls of weather that spring brings to this part of the country.

  3. I love the Clark Fork River every time we cross it (and that’s many times as we drive along the highway over the many windings of the river). It’s so scenic!

    • That view is close and I walk down there. It isn’t visible from the highway though, so few people ever see it.

  10. I’m curious about the tracks on the right-hand side of the photo. Animal or yours or both? Either way, you captured a lovely winter landscape.

    • The tracks are of deer. Sometimes people fish this stretch of river, but not in winter. There were no human tacks around but mine. It’s a little hard to get to in winter because of the ice and snow.
