  2. We’ve had a fair number of these in the front and side yard, probably with an earlier start than yours. Always a colorful herald of spring.

    • Yes, I would imagine that your seasons would be ahead of ours, and the mild ones would last longer as well.

  5. For years I thought we didn’t have daffodils in Texas, but of course we do — at least, in the northern part of the state. I missed Helen Lee’s Daffodil Paradise this year, as the flowers faded early, and the last day it was open was March 6. But it’s on the schedule for next year. In the meantime, I’ll enjoy looking at yours.

  7. So pretty. I don’t think I know anyone with daffodils here. My nextdoor neighbor used to have paperwhites but she moved and the yard was redone as desert landscape so they disappeared.

    • I don’t remember them in Arizona either, but here, along with the crocus they are the true harbingers of spring.
