These were pictures I brought back from my morning walk. After leaving a half inch of snow last night, the sky cleared this morning and the light was nice.
The color seemed exceptionally vibrant, I guess because the light was just perfect at that time. There was also a light coating of water droplets from the previous night’s snow that was melting. It’s lucky to be in the right place at the right time.
The ice on the blossom was the remains of the previous night’s snow. I thought it was decorated quite nicely; worth getting quite wet getting my camera (and nose) down to the level of the flower. Those little flowers don’t seem to mind the foibles of spring weather.
What a glorious view and the little icy buttercup (?) … The big and the small … all so beautiful …

It’s nice to see the country greening up again. The new grasses are beautiful.

The snow is like a little dusting from Tinkerbell’s wand.

Yes, there was just enough during the night that when it started to melt this morning it left little patches to accent the new spring greens.

You’re still ahead of us. We haven’t even started greening up yet.
That little buttercup is tough!

This is about normal here for this time of year. It should be like this for about another month where we get nice days and still get snowy days.

I thought so too when I saw the scene. Luckily I had my camera in my pocket when I went out for a walk.

I live within a mile of the place from which I took the picture. It doesn’t always look exactly like that, but it’s always pretty to see.

The colours are stunning, Terry! Gorgeous shots. I’d love to see it in person, but am thankful to have your blog to take me there virtually.

The buttercup is quite wonderful. My mother had a glass iris. It’s colored portions were encased in clear glass, and that’s what this reminds me of.

It’s good to see blue sky again. It has been rainy or snowy for weeks now, with only very brief periods of sun.

I’m glad that you liked that photo! Spring is beginning at the valley level and will slowly move up the mountains.
