The landscape there is so very different than what we have here. It’s a pleasure to see it.

As my father once said, “I can never leave these mountains”.

Oh, my lord, what a glorious scene … to be standing there … how that must have felt … beautiful scene, beautiful photograph.

I have seen that range often over nearly three quarters of a century and have never tired of seeing it. Soon they will be snow capped.

One of my favorite songs from a Kansas traditional music group is titled “clean curve of hill against sky.” Here, your variation is the clean curve of a hill against valley, mountains, and sky — it’s quite wonderful.
Comment by shoreacres — October 1, 2015 @ 6:32 am
Montana is perhaps unique because of the variety that can be within one scene.

What a sky…what a setting, entire. Very nice, Terry.
Comment by seekraz — October 1, 2015 @ 7:40 am
Thanks Scott. It is a privilege to live where that kind of scene is available.

You’re welcome, Terry…and I understand that in my core; it is such a privilege to live where this is available.

“Outdoors” is the key. It’s hard to stay inside here.

My mood improves every time I get near those mountains.
Looks like those mountains need some snow! Great picture though.
