A Lily for Easter
This was in full bloom today (after a night time temperature of 20°F), a week earlier than I’ve ever seen before, but just in time for Easter. Happy Easter, everyone!

I thought so! Seeing some of them in full bloom already was a surprise though. This was one of my Mother’s favorite wildflowers so they are special to me.

What a beauty. I always enjoy seeing your variety of wildflowers, but I’m with your mother on this one. It’s special!

I agree. These are very plentiful too and have a rather long blooming period. At the higher elevations they will be blooming in mid to late summer.

This was indeed early, but in a place where I have known flowers to bloom early. I saw some blossoms but was surprised to see them in such good condition after such a cold night.
