I like the saguaro edging into that first photo, and I think I remember seeing the second here. They’re all gorgeous. I don’t care what anyone says — no sunset (or sunrise) is like any other. I used to have a friend who’d say, “You see one sunrise, you’ve seen them all.” How wrong he was!

Yes, I’ve learned that when the sky starts to turn bight, you can’t shoot enough photos because they will all be different and you don’t want to miss the very best scene.

We’re known for our sunsets here, as you know, so I was happy to see #1 but it looks like you have just as spectacular ones up there.

Two of the loves in my life are the Sonoran desert and the Montana mountains, and both can be especially beautiful as the sun goes down.

Stunning, Terry…I was wondering about that first one until I saw the silhouette of the Saguaro….a very distinctive location. 🙂

I’m glad that you like the photos! The photo that you liked best was taken on a hiking trip and it was taken from a pass through the mountain range.

Clouds, in and of themselves can be beautiful things. But add to them the setting of the sun, and you have the potential for one of the most dramatic and lovely natural phenomenon that exists, as your photos have demonstrated. Well done Terry!

Thanks! I certainly agree, and having a camera at hand when the sky and clouds do that is a blessing!
