I’ve never seen anything like this. I’ve seen plenty of contrails and plenty of clouds — often together. But this? It’s really an unusual and special.capture. It’s a good reminder to look up now and then, too.
I don’t remember ever seeing this phenomenon, and you say it was your first time too. It’s comforting to confirm that new things can still come to us no matter how long we’ve been observing.
I’ve seen this ahead of the contrail, but not to the side. This is very cool! Thanks.
