While going through some old slides I came across this one shot in 1973.

    • I remember many, many sunsets over the Arizona desert. I hope I will find more old photos that still show their beauty.

  7. Believe it or not, it looks just like a photo taken here in the country in western PA – right off our back yard deck. Sunsets are my favorite and this one is a beaut!

  8. The colors are gorgeous, but I confess – I love seeing what I take to be saguaro cactus at the right side of the image. I’ve never seen one in real life, and I’m hoping one day to do so.

    • Yes, the tall one and the two shorter ones to the left of it are Saguaros. You will fall in love with them when you see them!

    • Thanks, but even a blind squirrel can find a nut sometimes! We have hundreds of old slides to go through and we’ll see if there are any more good ones in them!
