Cherry Peak

Cherry Peak Roadless Area

Cherry Peak and the other peaks in the Cherry Peak Roadless Area photographed from atop Penrose peak on July 7, 2008. The photo shows the northern part of the 57 square mile roadless area.

And along the trail just below the peak, beside a snowbank, Woodland Penstemons (Nothochelone nemorosa) in bloom.

Framed by clouds

Over the eight years that I have maintained this blog I have mostly posted photos and/or stories in the current timeframe.

Because of a temporary (and very disconcerting) lack of mobility I have been unable to produce much new and fresh material. That is discouraging to me, but upon perusing my photo library, I have come to believe that there are still some photos there that some folks might find enjoyable, and I have decided that I will post some of them until I’m able to get out and about to a larger extent. I hope that you will find them interesting or enjoyable.
