I had a brief trip into east Mesa to pick up some stuff, visit some old friends and head up to Prescott Valley. I wish I had more time to see some of the murals, but it wasn’t to be. Stopped briefly at the rim as I was heading out Sunday. I was surprised at how many folks were there this early!
This isn’t helping the traveling bug that has been bitting at me.
Beautiful shot of a beautiful palce. I’ve only experienced the North Rim which is spectacular. Can’t wait to see the other images you have brought back.
Thanks Tricia. Yes, there were quite a few visitors there already, a little surprising for this early in the season. There are still a few patches of snow in the shady spots.
Hi Montucky, I have been fortunate to have been to the Grand Canyon’s North and South rims before on two occasions. It is so beautiful it takes my breath away! Great picture. Have a super nice Friday tomorrow!
Looks like a nice drive! Beautiful color, but stay away from that edge!! Tx for commenting on the tulip. It is amazing how quickly thing have came and gone this summer. The dogwoods are even finished and they usually are just beginning to open right now. LOVE IT!! 🙂
Incredible beautiful landscape. The sky is deep blue, my favorite color. This is the place where I could sit for long time; admire all that what Mother Nature offers to us and to feel how my soul flies free over all of this beauty.
I don’t remember ever seeing a photo that shows the river so clearly. I suppose they’re out there, but this is truly beautiful. I’ve never been to the Canyon – it must be an amazing experience.
As do so many scenes in nature, Debby. It has been said that there are no atheists in foxholes, and I doubt that there are many in a wilderness either.
Hi Again Montucky, I was looking again at your photo here and was struck by the thought that the picture was very much like a Maxfield Parish painting in its color tones. Interesting and very beautiful! Have a good Saturday tomorrow!
Very nice.
