Please note:
I’ll be traveling for a week or so and since I don’t own a laptop I’ll be off the air for that long. I wish everyone a great week and I’ll look forward to resuming and catching up with everyone when I return.
Travel safely and enjoy the time away. Sometimes a little blogging break is good for the eye and the spirit, anyway! Who knows what will be blooming when you come back?
so you have found a yellow bell? I was wondering if they are blooming and figured some were. I love heading south in search of them and any others i can find…. just can’t wait until flowers bloom up here. Usually I go to the hills around Polson. May I ask what area you have found them blooming? wishing you a wonderful time away.
Nodding yellow bell, one of my favorites as it ushers in the quickening pace of new-bloomers.
Good thing you’re taking off at the slowest part of the wildflower season, so it won’t be so hard catching up with all the newly blooming flowers on your return.
Hope you are taking lots of photographs while you are away… you are gonna have some catching up to do! Love the fritillaria! Mine didn’t bloom this year so I’m glad to see one. 🙂
Thanks everyone for the comments and good wishes. We had a safe trip and it’s good to be back home! I will now start trying to catch up with everyone in the blog world, which appears to be a very heroic task!
Take care Montana!

They are blooming along the Clark Fork here. I live between Plains and Thompson Falls.

Have a safe trip and bring back lots of photos to share. Just soaked up your last few posts. Those waterdrop macros with the sunbursts are awesome.

I can see why a botanist named this species pudica, which means ‘shy.’
