This last year has been a pretty tough one for me although things are looking up again now. Through it all one of the things I could still find pleasure in was looking at many of your pictures. thank you for sharing them thyhave been a great help when I needed it most.
Since we have no had much snow so far this winter, I used a photo taken in December of 2010. I did print this on our Christmas cards and they looked quite nice.
Merry Christmas to you, too. Glad to see it was a little bit white this year for you … me too.
An inch of snow on Christmas Eve and then 44º today .. what a weird and wonderful year of weather.
We had almost exactly the same weather then. Strange year. I’m glad for the holiday travelers though because the roads have been good. Happy New Year to you!
As you know I have a deep appreciation for your photography. This photo is sooooooo good! It has a huge story to tell. And I’m hoping that you, too, had a wonderful Christmas and will have a healthy and happy New Year ahead. Thank you.
Stunning! As always… I’m currently winging my way to Billings where I will pick up a car rental and head to Red Lodge. Am spending New Year’s Eve with some of the many friends I’ve met since buying a house there… Delta’s online Wi-Fi works a bit slower than my fast internet connection at home but wanted to stop by to wish you a Happy Holiday Season! I’ve posted a greeting (written 6 days ago and finally posted yesterday) on my blog… it’s just been one of those kind of years.
Hope that 2012 brings you many more photo ops for us to all enjoy! Best wishes for a great year!
It seems that I am late, as usually. So sorry! Christmas has been very busy here with few problems. We had a winter storm that broke trees and cut off the electricity. We were lucky, no broken or fallen trees, although nearest was about 21 yards from our fence. Power cut lasted only 11 hours. This morning, December 30th, about 30000 households have no electricity yet.
Happy New Year to you and your family Matti! I’m glad you weren’t severely affected by the storm! Here we are still awaiting winter. It has been unseasonably warm although we are getting some fairly good snow now in the higher elevations.
Happy New Year, Montucky! I’ve appreciated getting to know you this last year, so come on over to my blog and join me in my “mutual admiration society.” I gave you the Reader Appreciation Award! 🙂
I’m late, too! I ended up traveling for a few days around Christmas, and took no gadgets with me at all – not even my beloved laptop. So, I’m only now getting around to visiting folks and enjoying their holiday posts.
I hope your Christmas was filled with joy – as much or more as you’ve given to us with your photos! (And the beaver dam is such a nice photo!)
I hope your Christmas was a good one and that you will have a wonderful new year! I’ve gotten terribly behind in visiting everyone’s blogs too; mostly caused by a kind of busyness associated with the season. Soon things will hopefully plane out again soon.
Happy New Year, montucky! I can’t think of a more perfect winter scene than this photo. Thank you for sharing your talents all year, it is always wonderful to come by.
Nothing like a beautiful photograph to make the perfect Christmas card. Merry Christmas.
