    • A clear blue sky here indicates a warm day in summer, but you’re right, in winter it is a sign of cold!

    • When the sun comes out in winter it seems to highlight the contrasts and I know it’s a good time to be afield with the camera.

  8. Gosh, that is so beautiful. If it weren’t for the blue sky and sunlight, it would look like a silver fireworks explosion.

    • Thanks you Sartenada. This was after the first real frost we’ve had. Earlier there were severely cold days, but no real frost. I always enjoy it.

    • This photo kind of walked me into it. The frost on the grass sparkled which caught my attention, then after a couple of shots it looked as though I might be able to get the sky as a background… (I crawl around on the ground a lot.)
