Montana Outdoors 
For those of you that are have already experienced winter weather I can understand your thoughts. As for myself I would love to have a white Christmas.. (: lovely photos!

I love white Christmases too, and this year we will certainly have one. After a couple of weeks of freezing rain on top of the previous snow, tonight we are having a beautiful snow again and there will be a thick blanket of it on the ground in the morning.

Thanks Stacey! Our family will be just fine, andn tomorrow should be very pretty. I’m always concerned about the folks on the highways though. I’m glad your heating system is working again too, even though I don’t think this storm should affect your area.

We always have several times during winter when it gets very dark and gray for weeks at a time, as it is right now. Thought I’d brighten things up a bit!

The rose is so pretty! I wonder if we would appreciate flowers so much if we didn’t have a winter season. (I wouldn’t mind if it was a little shorter, though!) We finally have snow, so it isn’t so drab feeling around here.

Lovely photos! I’m longing to see flowers in my garden though that time is a long way off! We haven’t even had snow yet– or any very cold weather– and I’m already looking forward to Spring! 🙂

I’ve found that when I get tired of winter it isn’t because of the snow or even the cold; it’s the gray skies day after day. That really makes me long for spring. Oh well, My photo records show that last year the first Buttercups and pussy willows started to show up here on January 30th.

That’s exactly what we’ve having too. We had 3 to 4 inches of snow early in the night and the forecast was for much more: then it started to rain and it has been drizzling ever since. I like to be out in summer rains, but in winter, not so much!

How “cheery” to bring into our mind summer. All those photos are lovely. Especially I like the photo from Red Clover, Trifolium pratense. That is great macro which gives justice to its beauty.
