My ID’s are never a guarantee, Stacey, but I’d call this a Scouring-rush, (Equisetum hyemale) in the Horsetail family. It seems to grow everywhere in the US. This shot of it in the spring is unusual, I think. I looked at lots of sites without seeing a similar photo.

I fell in love with it as soon as I noticed it. I thought the configuration of the plant was perfect for the tiny dew drops.

You know, in one of the other photos of this, the angle was slightly different and that eye has a pupil that looks like a cat’s eye.
