Montana Outdoors
S pretty. Fog adds a lovely gentle feel to those wilderness photos.

The fog was on the ground during the night, then lifted a bit after daylight. I like the feel of it.

That’s an area that just seems to have a great scene available nearly all of the time. It’s on the Flathead Indian reservation, so it has at least some protection, and it’s possibly to hike down the far side of the river. It’s quite beautiful there and because it’s in the valley, it can be hiked nearly all winer. It contains a lot of wildlife too.

It would. I’m now using it for a desktop scene too. I will try to return to that area the next time we have heavy fog, when the trees will be all white. I’ve seen them that way in years past and they’re gorgeous.

The fog decorated the trees and grasses during the night, then rose up a bit and created a backdrop for the scene. I love it when I run into scenes like that.

The country is decorated for Christmas, isn’t it! I think it’s nature’s way of tempering the harshness of winter with beauty.
