She is really sweet too, Candace. A few months after we lost our last dog, we decided to adopt one from the Humane Society and we are so glad we did. She enjoys her home with us.
I’ve just about stopped watching the NFL games myself for a number of reasons. In fact, I turned this one off very early, right after they put Vick into the game.
Brittney mix? – good looking dog. In my house a football shaped pillow wouldn’t have a chance – much like a nerf football, or a squeaky toy, or any plush animal left in range, apparently that stuffing is just too much fun to pull out.
English pointer, actually. She is rather unusual in that she hasn’t taken any toys apart, possibly because she was 6 years old when we adopted her. She does play though!
I turned off the Sunday night game very early, but I did watch Monday night’s. We don’t have a franchise anywhere near where I live, but I have several favorites and the Texans are one of them. I was disappointed to see them lose that game.
Thanks Maureen. No, I don’t have all of the wood split, but enough for this winter and most of the next. Sure is nice to have it ready, and we’re enjoying the fires. It’s so good to be able to get really warm after returning from a day in the snow and wind!
Awww, he (?) looks all snuggled in. What a sweet animal.

That’s the way I like to enjoy them too… unless of course “my” team is winning the Superbowl!

I have to confess that I sometimes do the same thing that she is doing, especially on cold nights and the fire is very warm.

My cats enjoy football the about the same way, though it tends to be a college game more often that a pro game.

We don’t like Vick a whole lot down here in Georgia.

I will no longer watch the Eagles play as long as they have him on the team.

I spent Monday night watching my beloved Texans lose with the new pup curled up on my lap and my son curled up next to me. It was a good combination.
