Sunset over the Clark Fork

I marked this exact spot and will return there for the next colorful sunset (hopefully).

  1. WEll, not quite as dramatic of a sunset but still a very pretty one.

    • It’s almost always pretty at that spot. I go there often, but I think I’ll try to go more often in late evening.

  2. It may not be as dramatic as the previous sunsets, but is still is very pretty and that does look like like a great place for sunsets!

    • Yes, I’ll have to pay more attention to the sky. That place is only about a half mile from my house, but it still takes a few minutes to get down there. (After stumbling around in the dark maybe I’ll also remember to take a headlight with me next time too!)

    • Thanks Stacey. No sunset tonight though. Looks like we will get a little rain!

  4. No red sky at night – looks like rain is on the way! 🙂

    • Right after I replied to Stacey’s comment we had a nice rain. As soon as it stopped we had another brief but bright sunset. Could have used a little more rain though.

  5. That isn’t a true statement. There was a sunset. There are degrees of sunsets. This one is just different. 😀 I really like it. I like the way the mountains diminish which leads the eye down to the color of the sunset. It is lovely. Nice reflection too.

    • You’re right Iona. This was just a small one and I thought it was pretty too.

    • I’m intrigued by those day-to-day differences, but the changes are delightful. I like those surprises.
