What a beautiful image and scene Terry, I love how you composed the river so that it draws you thru the image, this is wonderful work !!

where she is posting her trip through WA state via Amtrack and will likely post some or her cruise to Vancouver within a day or so. And here you are, on the Clark Fork!! I was already homesick and now you’ve about put me over the top!!
Lovely, lovely, lovely!! The first words out of my mouth was Ooooooh! You’ve nailed the beauty, the solitude, the atmosphere, the reflections, the river, the mountains, the sky, the forest – everything is perfect – a perfect photo of the Clark Fork in Montana! But given what you have to work with, The Lord’s creation, what else would the outcome have been?? Hang this one on the wall.

Iona, I had to be away from western Montana for many years and I know how hard it is to look at it from a distance! You’re right, it’s a beautiful creation!

There is a special relationship between mornings and water, isn’t there! Perhaps it is the calm of the water. I remember many scenes on our lakes when the water was like glass.
