The first thought: crispy! I think it is because the inside of the flower reminds me of corn on the cob. I like how this is lit up, too. The highlights on the ant is beautiful and the rest of the flower is lit perfectly.
THere must be some kind of food source for it there. I wonder if the two colors create an identity problem for crab spiders. How would they choose which color to be?
I guess nature hasn’t evolved privacy curtains yet on daisies. Well, it’s not likely that anyone else will be around to disturb the little fellow again for awhile.
Thanks for the birthday wishes! I love this image! The title is great too! Great catch!

What is that ant doing in there anyway? If it were a bee, I wouldn’t ask. 🙂 Have a great weekend.

I don’t really know what kind of a relationship there is between ants and daisies, but there must be one. I hope you have a good weekend too Melissa!

I liked the ant too. Now that most flowers are in full bloom, I’m seeing lots of insects around them.

That does bring an image of corn on the cob! The flash did exactly what I hoped it would when I saw that little window to the inside of the flower.

I’ll bet that ant is saying “gee, a guy can’t get any privacy around here!” I like how you always see it all,… thanks Montucky!
