  2. What is that ant doing in there anyway? If it were a bee, I wouldn’t ask. 🙂 Have a great weekend.

    • I don’t really know what kind of a relationship there is between ants and daisies, but there must be one. I hope you have a good weekend too Melissa!

    • I liked the ant too. Now that most flowers are in full bloom, I’m seeing lots of insects around them.

  5. The first thought: crispy! I think it is because the inside of the flower reminds me of corn on the cob. I like how this is lit up, too. The highlights on the ant is beautiful and the rest of the flower is lit perfectly.

    • That does bring an image of corn on the cob! The flash did exactly what I hoped it would when I saw that little window to the inside of the flower.

  6. What is that ant doing there? He better watch out for spiders that change color! Great close-up!

    • THere must be some kind of food source for it there. I wonder if the two colors create an identity problem for crab spiders. How would they choose which color to be?

  8. I’ll bet that ant is saying “gee, a guy can’t get any privacy around here!” I like how you always see it all,… thanks Montucky!

    • I guess nature hasn’t evolved privacy curtains yet on daisies. Well, it’s not likely that anyone else will be around to disturb the little fellow again for awhile.
