Confusion

Filed under: Flowers, Montana, Nature, Outdoors, Photography, Photos, Pictures, Wildflowers — montucky @ 1:41 am

There are lots of plants around that look similar to me and since I am not adept at identification anyway, they make me very confused. Here are some photos and attempted ID’s.

Who does not believe in miracles?

Today these appeared for the first time, literally overnight, wild and free, planted and tended only by Mother Nature.

Another side of the Larkspur

Yesterday, on a little shelf on the hillside above the river I came upon a group of Larkspur that were quite colorful and in good condition, and I chose to try some photos of one that was back inside some rather heavy brush and mostly out of the wind. I set an umbrella down in such a position that it shielded the flower from the wind and my camera from the rain and wriggled underneath on my belly to attempt a photo.

Here is what the lens saw there: an entirely different side of a Larkspur.
