  1. Elegant for sure,… all white satin, seed pearls for decoration,..and lovely cobalt blue accents on her “gown!” What a lovely flower!

    • Aren’t they lovely? I was struck by the way this one was posing. It seemed to emphasize the “Elegant” in its name.

    • They do look so different from most flowers, and this one seemed to have an attitude.

    • These are just beginning to bloom now and there are many different variations. I’ll post many more before the next couple of weeks are over. I fell in love with these years ago!

    • This is a rather different look at one of them, but it really struck me when I saw it.

  6. Hi Montucky! I clicked on your link at Surface & Surface Photography to bring me here and I’m glad I did! What beautiful photos you have and Montana seems gorgeous, still pristine without the curse of modern civilization!
This photo is my favorite so far! Beautiful!

    • Thank you for the visit and the nice comment, Barbara! There is much beauty in Montana’s remaining wild country, and I try to display images of what I see of it, most of which can not be seen from the roads and highways. I’m very pleased that you have enjoyed seeing some of it!

    • It does look mysterious at that, but just one pose of these lovely little wildflowers and I was lucky to get it.

    • Thanks, Jewel. I will post more photos a little later of some of the other varieties of which there are many. I kind of liked this shot myself.
