  1. Just because it’s common, sure doesn’t lessen its beauty. You certainly have great observation skills, Terry. Lots of people would pass right by without a second glance. We’re all the richer for your photographs.

    • Thank you for the kind words Bo. I’m convinced that each of these little things has a purpose, and while I don’t understand exactly why their forms are so pleasing to us, I’m grateful for it.

  2. You have an eye for beauty be it the “small and common” or the rare and endangered. I esp liked the first photo in this series.

  3. The botanical world is filled with wondrous things! I love the details in your macro shots…all those little parts have very important specific functions…yet each is beautiful! Very pleasing photos!

    • Maybe I go a bit too far with the macros, but that tight lens show things that we just don’t see without it. The intricacies fascinate me!

    • Today I went through the National Bison Range with some friends and these were just everywhere! I have many more photos of them than I need!

  5. I agree with silken. The last shot is my favorite. The way the light reflects off the inside of flower (pollen, just a little silver lining?) is great.
