Who does not believe in miracles?

Today these appeared for the first time, literally overnight, wild and free, planted and tended only by Mother Nature.

    • Yes, the lens shows a lot of the detail that we usually miss.

  3. Seen any cassiope? I must admit that I know little about them except for their great beauty and that they were John Muir’s favorite flower.

    • I have not seen them. I suspect they do not grow in this area.

  5. Purple is now my favorite color – thanks to you! Amazing detail. Are the lilacs blooming yet there?

    • I think Mother Nature likes purple too. I see patches of lilacs in some areas that are in full bloom. We have 6 trees, including one that has super double whites, and they are just barely beginning to bloom. This is the first time I can remember that they will not be ready for Memorial Day: usually they are on the way out by then.

  6. You’ve captured the colors beautifully. And the green on green (focused on diffuse) works very, very well. Nicely done, my friend.

    • I’m not sure there are any others, and if there are they appear to be capricious.
