Yesterday, on a little shelf on the hillside above the river I came upon a group of Larkspur that were quite colorful and in good condition, and I chose to try some photos of one that was back inside some rather heavy brush and mostly out of the wind. I set an umbrella down in such a position that it shielded the flower from the wind and my camera from the rain and wriggled underneath on my belly to attempt a photo.
Here is what the lens saw there: an entirely different side of a Larkspur.
