Fishing season opened here this weekend and of course I had to at least give it a try. As usual for this time of year the water was very high from snow melt, and so I had no luck fishing, but Mother Nature always has something pleasant in store for those who spend time in the outdoors. The light was just right on a small backwater off the river and I was glad I had my camera along.
