  2. Sara,

I’ve found when we have this cold air in place it a time to get out and enjoy it because the sky is so clear. So often in winter we have clouds and falling snow, which are pretty, but a few days of arctic air really makes it pretty. I took a bunch of photos today and some are quite nice.

While I was out, a half dozen eagles entertained R. right across the river. I could see them at a distance, but too far for a photo. (I was after a shot of about a hundred ducks on the river among the ice chunks.)

  4. It was pretty yesterday, Cedar, but today the very cold air is leaving and it has started to snow pretty heavily. There’s no blue, just white, and even the river is gray. Nice to see it warm up though!
