Mountain ranges and morning mists

The mists of early morning spread a soft blue tint over three mountains ranges, from the Cabinets, across the Salish and up the western slopes of the Missions.

  4. narziss,

Yes, it is an amazing world out there. I see scenes like this nearly every day and still have that feeling of amazement.

  5. teaspoon,

  6. Pinhole,

That’s a great way to describe it! Very fitting. The Missions are about 45 air miles from there or about 100 by road.

  8. I also love the layers. Each one holds special and pleasant memories for me from times when I was down there looking back up here.

    • It would! You know, in all of my wanderings, I’ve only once come upon someone painting a scene, I suppose because artists don’t take to the back country trails very often.
