Thank you for visiting, Kelly! I still remember the long years when I was away from Montana too and how hard that was! I guess that makes coming back all that much sweeter though.

Hello, Montucky!

My friend, Patia, recommended your site to me recently and I've been reading it religiously ever since. I had to move to DC from Missoula for some work (alas!!! the tragedy!!!); however, I know it's only a little while before I head back to the mountains. In the meantime, thank you for bringing them to me. I can't tell you what a difference this has made in my life.

Cheers, Kelly

There seems to be something special about this particular species, or the season, or something. They are very tame.

Yes, he is really hairy. He's so tiny I couldn't see that without the camera. That's another thing I like about digital: it doesn't cost anything to try something and it's often surprising what comes out.

Thanks, Adam! I couldn't believe that he was so patient that he let me get both shots.

Cee Cee, thanks for the visit and the kind words! I use a Kodak Z712IS. If you click on any of the photos it will take you to the photo on flickr and to the right it displays the camera. Just below that under (I thin kit is) "more properties", it will also show the camera settings for that photo if that interests you.
